Privacy notice
How we handle your information
Last updated: August 22, 2026.
What data do we collect?
When you register your business through the form, we collect: business name, category, city, region, a short description, the language of your listing, your WhatsApp number and/or contact email, links to your store or social media, and optionally a link to a photo of your business or product.
What do we use it for?
Only to publish your business in the public Colombia a Tuta directory, so people can find and contact you directly. Colombia a Tuta is a directory only: we don't sell anything or process payments on this site, and we don't use your information for any other purpose.
Who sees your information?
A volunteer reviews every submission before it's published. While your submission is pending review, or if it's rejected, your information is not published and is only seen by the volunteers responsible for moderation. Once approved, your business information (including your contact details) appears publicly on the website, visible to anyone who visits it.
How long do we keep it?
We keep your information for as long as the directory is active, or until you ask us to remove it.
Your rights
At any time you can ask us to update, correct, or delete your information, or to remove your listing from the directory. Write to us at hola@example.org and we'll handle your request as soon as possible.
Where it's stored
We use Google Forms and Google Sheets to receive and organize submissions. Google's own privacy policy also applies to the technical handling of that data.
Who's responsible
Colombia a Tuta is an independent, nonprofit community initiative created in response to the August 10, 2026 earthquake in Colombia. It is not a company or a government entity.
